-This year's GOP convention might have promised to be a little less mind-numbingly boring if only Dubya had to run in a primary. Thankfully, New Hampshire Republicans aren't gonna let him off that easily.

-Mean people suck. But Psychology Today finds that schadenfreude can be healthy.

-Iraqis can file grievances for wrongful death, destroyed property, etc. with the parent state of whatever coalition unit did the damage. Except that coalition forces have immunity from local due process.

-All you ever wanted to know about the candidates of 2004 elections, including state elections, nationwide.

-The Army is offering a $10,000 re-enlistment bonus for soldiers in Iraq. Some GIs tell the Army where they can shove it.
