Caught a little bit of Deborah Norville Tonight on MSNBC last night. She was interviewing Barney Frank, the gay congressman from Massachusetts, and Bob Barr, the conservative former Georgia congressman. Frankly all this gay marriage controversey is bullshit. The same guys who want to "preserve the sanctity of marriage" so much see no irony in getting a divorce. Look, gay people want to "preserve the sanctity of marriage" by (surprise!) getting married! But of course, Republicans are too well-versed in Orwellian doublespeak to realize the paradox.
