OK time to clear out the articles I've bookmarked so far this week.

-You know there will be civil lawsuits against the government, arising out of the Iowa college anti-war subpoena-fest. PLUS! A P2P user sued by the RIAA is fighting back by counter-suing under the RICO law.

-BusinessWeek's Christopher Farrell says that it's not necessarily the federal deficit that's the problem, it's that education and other infrastructure funding is being starved as a result.

-Not all feds in the Justice Department are Bush apparatchiks. A US attorney in Detroit is suing John Ashcroft for bungling his terrorism investigation.

-Where are the leaders of the land? Thulani Davis decries the dearth of solid black leaders in the new millennium.

-The Cassini space probe has reached Titan, one of its primary mission goals, which would be just another barren rock except for the fact that it has an atmosphere.

-Here's something worth reading from a while back. Sebastian Mallaby makes the case for the US to embrace imperialism.
