Right-wing freak watch: conservative GOP (though "conservative GOP" is kinda redundant nowadays) congressmen are threatening to impeach judges who cite foreign cases and laws in their decisions. So I guess this is the end of judicial recognition for international adoption, foreign marriages, extradition of criminals, and anti-smuggling efforts... Silly me, I thought we had an independent judiciary in this country.
