OK I really need to clear all these news links that have been piling up for weeks...
-Why do they hate us? If "they" are the Arabs, they've been hating us since the Eisenhower administration.
-This Friday's Nightline will be entirely dedicated to a reading of names of US combat dead from Iraq.
-Maybe Sam Huntington's "clash of civilizations" theory should be reexamined so that we can prevent it from happening.
-Would voters actually know and care more about the issues if there was Deliberation Day before Election Day?
-Al Qaeda isn't just some hierarchal terrorist network anymore. It's a globalized idea, with franchises.
-The cancer drug at the center of last year's ImClone scandal is making a profit and may finally get FDA approval.
-Just eat it! Organ meats are now not just exotic, they're haute cuisine.
-Sure, everyone wants the UN back in Iraq. But the UN's not gonna do any better if it's held hostage to US politics.
-So what if voting for president became like voting for American Idol, mixed with a bit of The Apprentice?
-The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has a huge jurisdiction. And it's got a chief judge to match.
