2004. What an ugly mess of a year. Well most of it happened in the latter half I think. There was Abu Ghraib. Then the election proved everyone's suspicions of American stupidity absolutely correct. And as if we couldn't just end the year on a lukewarm note, the Indian Ocean decided to spill itself.

I'm ready for a new year.
