Could it be possible that Palestinians and Israeli liberals will miss Ariel Sharon now that there's pretty much no hope he'll come back as PM? Maybe "only Sharon could go to Gaza" is right.

"Foreign minister in secret visit to UAE" - and here I thought secret meant nobody was supposed to know about it. Seriously, patriotic and pan-green as I am, this is why I have no hope for Taiwanese politics. Nobody in government can keep a secret for long.

My 2¢ on the postage rate hike? Go lick a fuckin' stamp. OK a 2¢ increase to 39¢ may not seem like a lot, but it is considering that I've still got some 22¢ stamps lying around.
